ADHD and Menopause - Masterclass

Understanding the Hormonal Impact on Women's Mental Health

250 British pounds
Online Webinar

Service Description

ADHD is frequently underdiagnosed in women, often only identified later in life - commonly during perimenopause or menopause - when hormonal changes intensify previously overlooked symptoms. Clinicians across mental health and women’s health frequently encounter women struggling with memory lapses, emotional dysregulation, overwhelm and chronic “behind-ness,” yet feel uncertain about how ADHD, mental health and menopause interact. The lack of research, evidence and education about the common and disabling interaction between mental wellbeing and hormone health is a problem for both women and their health care providers. As healthcare providers we created this course to fill the gap. This expert-led masterclass is designed specifically for professionals working at the intersection of mental health, wellbeing and menopause. Whether you’re a coach, therapist, GP, psychiatrist, or allied health professional, this course equips you with the knowledge, tools and clinical confidence to recognise and manage ADHD in women experiencing hormonal transitions, and to provide integrative, evidence-informed care within your skill set. Participants do not need to be experts in either ADHD or menopause - this course provides a practical, clinically focused framework to improve assessment, treatment and patient support. You’ll explore: How ADHD presents in women across their lifespan and why it is often missed until midlife The impact of perimenopause and menopause on cognition, mood and ADHD symptom expression Evidence-based treatment strategies and lifestyle interventions for ADHD and menopause Integrative approaches to supporting women in navigating healthcare systems The masterclass includes interactive discussion, real-world clinical examples and a Q&A session to help you translate knowledge into practice.
